Mural Artist Application

Thank you for your interest in being a muralist at the Beyond 66 Mural Festival. Beyond 66 is Edmond’s first annual mural festival, celebrating public art, community connection, and creative storytelling along the Route 66 corridor.

Each year, the festival centers around a specific mission. The 2026 mission focuses on community care and support for children and families through adoption and foster care. Artists selected for 2026 will be asked to thoughtfully interpret this mission through their own artistic style.

This is a juried selection with a limited number of walls
There is no fee to apply
Political messages, racial messaging, slogans, or explicit text are not permitted
Murals should be visually engaging, uplifting, and accessible for all audiences
Artists may reapply in future years as the mission theme changes

Selected artists will be notified with next steps, wall assignments, and timelines.
